The Search Continues
So I thought I'd have another go at looking for a new wormhole. We seem to want a C4 so I thought I'd find a C2 or something and find one with a static C4 connection so I could check out a new C4 every day to find an empty one. Lan was also pottering around wormholes looking for shit so I thought we could cover twice as much space if we go at it simultaneously.
I logged an alt that can fly the Helios T2 Cov Ops Scanner Ship fitted with the same Helios Fit I use on my main Lusankya and 2nd account Luskette.
I headed out towards Derelik as there is always fuckall people out that way.
I got as far as Yuhelia and saw a few sigs and no one in local so I thought I'd check them out. 2 of the Cosmic Sigs were wormholes, both C2. One was EOL so I went in the other one. A K162 (so it was opened from the inside).
No ships on Dscan and 1 active pos in it. HS and C3 static. DOH! Thought I'd check it out anyway.
Scanned down all of the Cosmic Signatures and found it's C3 static. Went through.
DSCAN and 3 towers, no force fields. 2 mobile depots. 2 planets out of range of dscan. 1 in each direction. Bucket load of sites and quite a few sigs. Hmmm this might be empty. Let's take a peek. I bookmark the WH exit and away we go.
4 dead sticks in the system, no other ships, about 30 sites, and about 10 Cosmic Signatures at a glance. I cbf scanning that shit down so I thought I'd mark where the existing POS were and who the owners are and do some research to see what was going on.
First though, create an offgrid logoff spot. With that done, I launched my probes and warped back to the C2 wh entrance to watch it incase anyone followed me through. Orbit the hole and let's do our research.
The system wasn't up on wormholesales.
Found the 4 sticks. Bookmarked them all, and checked the owner corps. 4 different Corps. WOW
Next I scanned down the Mobile Depots. Looks like two corp mates. Both lost their ships in the WH when I look at the zkillboards. Bookmarked both of the Mobile Depots (they were on the same grid as each other but were probably setup at a site of some description that has since despawned.)
That will do for tonight. I'll have another peek tomorrow. tomorrow."
