It has been 1 weeks so the ransom deadline has passed. We still have the threat of siege hanging over us. We have removed excess ships from the POS. We have also made sure that we keep our loot flowing out of the Wormhole. We know that a few of the siege accounts have left the hole. As soon as our wh picket accounts saw them leave we mobilised and closed the holes behind them. We are still very wary when we run the combat sites just to make sure that nothing surprises us.
Our corp CEO has been in contact with one of the siege leaders again and we have decided that we aren't going to pay the 1.5 billion ISK ransom. We no longer have 1.5 billion ISK of ships and equipment in the POS so blowing it up won't give these guys anywhere near that amount in loot. Getting that out was fun when we had 2 wardecs on us as everyone was a spy!
We've also heard from other sources that even if we pay the ransom they'll evict us anyway. We have all trained Starbase defense 4 on our accounts. It's a corp pre-requisite for wormhole participation once anchoring 5 was no longer required. We actually want to give our pos defenses a test run. I'm interested if we can Alpha some of the ships with a dozen accounts all controlling 4 defense batteries focusing dps on a single target. These guys rekon they'll school us in POS setup. I'm hoping they come to do some schooling and we get to surprise them with instapopping a few Battleships.
I have also fit 2 ospreys for shield repairs and Gerond has fitted 1 so we have 3 shield reppers we can use. We are now itching to test this stuff out.
Our first wormhole was a Wolf Rayet C3. As this gimped shields most of the corp members never really trained them. We used guardians to run our sites before we'd skilled in armor resists enough and then used Augorers once we didn't need the reps that much. We hardly use them these days as a bit of ship pimp and some proper skills and most of the damage from sites can be absorbed comfortably.
So in the end the CEO said "come and get us fucktards" (or he should have) and we'll now wait to see if they still have anyone in our hole to come and get us. I have a feeling that none of their mains are in the hole as killboard watching and saving them to contacts has shown that they're in other systems. They could still have an alt account that can scan out though. Time will tell but now the losses aren't going to be too much we are prepared to lose the POS and give starbase defense a go.
Bring it on!
Oh and the fact that we've been in contact with some other corps and alliances that have requested us to join them over the last 6 months and we now have access to a tengu fleet on the batphone if we ever need one.

A Conflict Spilleth Over
It's was 20 minutes after DT and I managed to get into Eve last night. I'd been doing manual labor all day (which is unheard of for me) so it was time to wind down with some gaming.......

We have a seige
So the call went out on our forums and Google Hangouts that we had been threatened with seige and eviction from our hole by HAHA.
We have had skirmishes with these guys in the past and they'd invited us to join them because we had the right attitude providing good fights.
Now they either don't know what each other are doing or they are bored and want more good fights. We've seen a few ships on dscan and I think we've same the same ship (being renamed between cloaks) on grid at what he thinks is his safe spot quite a few times. This guy is a total wanker and obviously hasn't been around his corp long enough to know of our history, and if he's tried to do his research using killmails has only ever seen our deaths as we don't post ours. While some of us may be new to this game, we are not stupid. With us all being friends IRL we have years of gaming history with each other. This means that communication between us both in and out of game is clear and quick. We know how we play and seeing this guy try to be misleading right infront of our faces shows he's obviously amateur hour proficient and clueless as to who he has picked a fight with.
We are a small group and have done plenty of stupid shit. We do however feel that if the worst comes to worse we'll fight it out. We'll run some of our excess ships out right away and bring back the Catalyst Gank fleet that we had intended to unleash in Highsec before the wardecs and get them in for transport of goods to an Evac system. With this as a basic plan it was time to mobilise.......
We jumped a fleet to the Lowsec exit for security. We had eyes in Lowsec. I had Lusky in the Proteus and Luskette in the Phobos. Lan was in a curse, Dan in a Nightmare with a few stealth bombers and 6 Oracles.
OK we're here guys, bring on the good fights. Uncloak the 30 ships you say you have in the system and let's go.
Our evac went well. While we waited for HAHA to bring us a good fight we got numerous ships out of the hole and quite a bit of ISK of PI and blue goo. After about an hour of being out in the open waiting for them they're obviously bullshitting on their numbers. At this stage we retreated and warped the fleet off. I stayed on grid for 20 minutes or so and saw one guy, the bullshit artist himself land on grid in his Loki 50km from the hole. He cloaked again before uncloaking with a new ship name and cloaking again. When he uncloaked again with a new ship name he zoned out. This was confirmed by our Lowsec picket and we once again mobilised and closed the hole. He wasn't coming back in that way. With that Loki gone, we still thought we had a Legion or 2 plus a stratios. These were the ships that we saw either on dscan or on grid at a womhole exit.
Let's see what happens over the next week before their deadline.

The Threat of Seige
Well you may have noticed that updates have been slow. This is because we were threatened with siege and the purge of our wormhole by the HAHA alliance last night.
