POS RF

So Goonswarm decided to RF all of the POS in our area that had Capital Shipbuilding capabilities.  That meant that one of our POS and an alliance member's in a neighboring system were both Reinforced.  These came out of RF about 20 minutes apart, the first one about 40 minutes after Downtime on Monday for the alliance corp.

That is when we (the Aussies) are on so that gives us a corp op to organise.  50 Ospreys were built and fitted for Maximum Shield Repair.   I logged in 20 minutes before downtime and grabbed 2 Ospreys and moved to another system in POS 1.

It certainly was a sight to see so many Ospreys among the Archons, Thanatos, Chimera.  A small protection fleet of Ishtars and Basilisks were also in range.  We were in position and ready before Downtime hit and we has a chat while we waited for the system to come up.

After a lovely long half hour DT this was looking good.  Hopefully the systems would come up before the RF on the first tower was up so we could start repairing and the Goon fleet wouldn't have time to get intel and then form up themselves.  If this DT went on too long though, we might have both of the towers out of RF at the same time which would not be good at all.

With 8 minutes until the 1st RF timer ended the systems came up and we were in.  The system was full of Blues (and purples).  With a minute to go the shield rechargers were primed and ready to target the tower.

With the 50+ ospreys, half a dozen Basilisks and 8 triage carriers the shield was up to 50% within a minute or 2 and stront had been refilled.  With 3 minutes to go until our tower came out of RF we moved to change systems and left the first pos with 95% shields.  A job well done.

As we were moving word of a "Red" in a neighboring system came through.  Was an attack going to be launched at our POS?

It was decided to orbit the tower at 35km while repping just in case a stealth bomber fleet warped in.  Once again some alliance carriers and the small Ishtar fleet assisted and we had recharged it to 100% without incident.  A quick check and the 1st POS was also at 100% so that was us done.

Who says T1 Logi isn't any good? Well it certainly is when you have numbers. God when I think back to our siege in the Wormhole, the 3 Ospreys we were going to field would have made fuckall difference to be honest. That would have been a lesson and a half if it had happened.......
