OK so our Alt Corp earned themselves a WarDec. Not a big deal really. There are no real ties so everyone just leaves the corp. No Dramas. As one of the Orca Pilots reported getting bumped within 12 hours of the WarDec being declared we figured it was something to do with that. An alt corp of 1 created less than a week ago by a toon created a week ago. Carefactor = 0.
When the Orca Pilot announced he was getting bumped again last night I thought I'd just leave the wormhole, pick up my Sleeper Combat fitted Talos and go bump back. My sleeper Talos is MWD fitted so it hikes along. I figure it will be faster than a Machariel and should be able to bump it back.
As I land in the system I warp to the site the Orca is in and there isn't a bumper around. I activate the cloak and just chill out for a bit as the pilot must be docked at the station. It looks like there is some banter with someone already in the system between someone and the alleged bumper. Looks like someone is harassing the bumper already. Haha this will be interesting.
The Machariel lands on grid and starts plowing for an Orca. I'm uncloaked and heading for him. Bumpety Bump. I've never done this stuff before. The Machariel cannot out run my Talos and I think I've surprised him.
He bounces from Orca to Orca and I bump him around a bit. Then an Ibis lands on grid and lights up the Machariel. WTF is going on here? In comes Concorde and there is a Red pod sitting on grid now that the Ibis has been popped. Now i'm not 100% sure about the rules of Highsec. Could I shoot this pod for a free kill? He's red but I'm not 100% sure and I don't want to lose my Talos. Maybe if I was in an Atron I'd have a go for sure.
The Machariel warps away and I cloak up again. A few minutes later the bumper returns in a Retribution. He lands on grid and sits there in the site. After 3 minutes or so he warps off. Back comes the Machariel and the bumping continues. Back comes the Ibis and he gets another one popped by Concorde. This guy is crazy. It is a bit funny though.
Bumping and counter bumping ensues and the Machariel warps away again. Once again the Retribution lands on grid and a duel screen pops up. Haha, he wants to duel me in an Assault Frigate. While I may actually be able to kite that frigate, I don't have any PVP setup on this Talos and I doubt my Large Turrets would be able to hit that thing. The drones probably would, if they could keep up.
I cloak and he laughs at me. I'm getting bored now and he's talking Russian to me in chat. Yeah Yeah you're watching me. After he warps back to the station I leave the system and head back to drop the Talos off and get back into the hole. Actually I can't be stuffed right now. I'll just head back in later.
12 hours later and we have a WarDec on this corp. Once again from a single person corp. Haha. Declaring War on a Wormhole corp is futile. Good luck with that one. Hah!
